What Is Refinishing?
Refinishing, resurfacing and refacing are different terms for the process we use, but are all the same thing. It is the most effective, economical and cost efficient way of remodeling or updating your bathtub, shower, cultured marble, tile and countertops. The process starts with an extensive preparation of the surface, including cleaning, sanding and the repairing of any damage to the surface. All of the area around the surface being refinished is masked off and covered to ensure there is no overspray left on any other surface, as well as ventilation systems to reduce dust and odor. We use a low odor quick drying chemical to ensure you recieve the best finish and most comfortable experience possible. All of our technicians have been professionally trained to leave our customers with the best end result possible. Reglazing your tub is a much better option than replacing. Replacing will leave you with a huge mess, it is very expensive and a lot of downtime in the bath area. Resurfacing is completed in less than a day most of the time and the treated surfce is ready to be used within 6 hours of the job being completed.

DIY Bathtub Refinishing Kits
DIY bathtub refinishing kits may seem like the perfect option, but they are actually only temporary solutions to the underlying problem that will only cost you more money in the long run. Some do it yourself projects work very well, this is not one of those projects. Bathtub refinishing is something that should be handled by fully trained professionals. A DIY kit will have to be redone by a professional which will include a stripping fee to strip the finish from the DIY kit, which will cost more money than you would have originally spent having it done properly to begin with. Tub resurfacing requires a lot of training and an in depth knowledge of proper surface preparation, as well as masking off and a good spraying technique. DIY kits will not provide you a finish with the durability and high shine like we can provide for you. You wouldnt get a DIY kit to paint your car so why would you do it on your tub? The process of painting your tub or shower is much like the process of painting a car, which is something to be left to a professional. Don't waste your time or money, call us today to schedule your refinishing work to be done.
Reglazing VS. Tub Liners
Don't let big name liner companies fool you with their products! It may seem like a wonderful solution but later down the road it is something you will definitely regret. A tub liner is a piece of plastic formed to fit your tub based off of measurements taken from your tub. There are

thousands of different shapes and sizes of tubs that have been made and the chances of a liner fitting your tub perfectly is slim. Without a perfect fit your tub will feel hollow, because it will be! Advesives are used to hold the liner in place, eventually these adhesives will fail leaving horrible results. We know first hand as we have removed numerous liners and refinished the tub underneath, leaving a much nicer end result and a much happier customer. When the adhesive fails water begins to seep between your tub and the liner. Over time this will cause mold, mildew and a very terrible smell of stagnant water. It can also cause the tub to seem uneven or unlevel as the liner has seperated from the tub. Liners do not supply you with as high shine of a finish or as durable of a product as resurfacing will. Resurfacing your bathtub can be done in one day and leave you with a much nicer end result keeping you happy for years to come!
